Install Industrial craft 1.106 on Minecraft 1.3.2

Prerequisites for client and server:

Download and install 7zip from:

www.7-zip.org

Client install (Windows):

1.) Download minecraft from:

www.minecraft.net -> Downloads

Run Minecraft.exe, apply updates to 1.3.2

2.) Download Industrialcraft from:

http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Download#Download

3.) Install Industrialcraft by copying industrialcraft*.jar to %appdata%\.minecraft\mods (if mods doesn’t exist, create the folder):

copy -v industrialcraft*.jar “%appdata%\.minecraft\mods”

4.) Download minecraftforge from (click the universal, direct link):

http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,2575.0.html

5.) Extract minecraftforge zip file.

6.) Right-click on “%appdata%\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar” choose “7zip” -> “open archive”

7.) Drag and drop contents of minecraftforge folder into the minecraft.jar you opened in the previous step.

8.) Close minecraft.jar that is opened with 7zip

Run minecraft!

Server install (On Linux):

* All steps are preformed on a Windows machine first, before transferring to your Linux server.

1.) Download minecraft server (minecraft_server.jar) from:

www.minecraft.net -> Downloads

2.) Download Industrialcraft from:

http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Download#Download

3.) Download minecraftforge from (click the universal, direct link):

http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,2575.0.html

4.) Extract minecraftforge zip file.

5.) Right-click on minecraft_server.jar” choose “7zip” -> “open archive”

6.) Drag and drop contents of minecraftforge folder into the minecraft_server.jar you opened in the previous step.

7.) Close minecraft_server.jar that is opened with 7zip

8.) Copy minecraft_server.jar and industrialcraft-2_1.106.jar to remote location on Linux server.

9.) Launch the server once via “java -jar <path to mincraft_server.jar” and close.

10.) Install Industrialcraft by copying industrialcraft*.jar to your server directory mods directory (if folder does not exist, create the folder):

11.) Launch the server via “java -jar <path to mincraft_server.jar” and Enjoy!

Server install (On Windows):

If you are installing the Minecraft server on a Windows machine you need to install the mods:

1.) Download Minecraft_Server.exe server package from www.minecraft.net:
Run the server once and close the server.
2.) Download and install the modforge loader:
3.) Download and and copy industrial craft to the server mods directory:

Copy to the following:
Drag and drop “industrialcraft-2_1.106.jar” to your server “mods” directory.  If the folder is not there, create it.  It should exist in the directory that you launched the Minecraft_Server.exe file.
